April

Boy April was  a REALLY busy month!  I am just going to finish off some of the fun things we did that I haven't posted about with some pictures and a small caption or I might never get to May.

Visiting The Foggs for dinner... Landon enjoyed their newest family additions.

We had been thinking about getting some egg layers but after seeing how much Landon enjoyed them at the Fogg's we decided it was a good idea.

The newest members of the Williams family

A couple of pictures of our other furry family members

Chang enjoying Dad's dirty work clothes...

and a basket that he barely fits in,  silly cat!
 Reesie enjoying Landon's table

Landon and I have been successfully growing two strawberry plants.  We get about 2-4 berries a week.

Uncle Jeremiah and Aunt Jamiie spent their spring break with us.  Landon loved it!

Aunt Jamiie, Landon and I visited Morning Side on morning.
The sheep had babies!

Landon is really good at drinking from a cup, most of the time.

We did some cooking too, which Jamiie and Josh love.

Here is a picture of one of our creations. It was so yummy!

Music Class fun!  Landon loves music!!!!!  Unfortunately Jeremiah and Jamiie had to stay home and get some homework finished, those mean college professors... giving homework on Spring Break.

There is a gas station we always try to stop at that has horses.  We have talked to the owners of the store and horse and they are very nice.  Aunt Jamiie and I love horses and I think Landon does too!

After dropping Jamiie and Jeremiah off I visited with my parents for a couple of days before heading back home.

Out by the docks

Boats, water, and sunshine!  I love the gulf coast!

Landon and Grandma with "Landon's eagle"

Walking the neighborhood

On the road..

We stopped by Tallahassee on the way home for dinner and a visit with Uncle Adam.

My laundry room visitor... thankfully Josh loves snakes and got it out for me.

A Saturday with my boys enjoying outside and the music- Praise in the Field!

We spotted our friend, Susan and got to enjoy her company too

We also had to say good bye to Josh's truck.  A lady hit him one day on his way from finishing working a job for his business to Petco.  Even though not having a second vehicle has been an inconvenience we did much better than expected with the insurance and should be able to get Josh a good truck!  It was a blessing for the money since we would have never been able to sell it for as much as we got plus Josh wasn't hurt just a little stiff after the accident.
If anyone hears of a good deal on a truck we are still looking for one.

Jonathan!

Jon, Josh's oldest of his younger brothers, recently came home from a tour in Afghanistan.  He came to visit us of several days since we hadn't seen him since November.  It was some what of a unexpected trip so we plotted to surprise Dad since the week that Jon was visiting was Dad's birthday.  We convinced him and the family  to come down for the weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of pictures with Landon and Jon.  I was just excited to see him.  Oh well....

Landon loves time with his family!

 Happy Birthday, Dad!

We wanted to let Jon enjoy the Florida sun so we went tubing.
Hey, mom... uhh I think I might need a little help getting out of here!

Jon might be in the Marines...

but he still can't beat his daddy!

So relaxing on the river with our family

Landon got the boat and Dad and Mom took turns sharing it with him.
Landon was great at rowing.

Kisses for Sally!
Fun in the sun tuckers this little guy out!

Roar and Slither, Squawk and Coo, Things are happening, at the Zoo

Vernine invited Landon and I to join Kalya's class on their field trip to the zoo.  After finishing up Kayla Year end evaluation, we loaded up all the kids in the car and head over to Santa Fe Zoo.  It was Landon's first time the zoo.  He was so excited! I hadn't been in a couple of years, so if was even better for me.
He had on his monkey shirt which the girls at the entrance loved.

It always amazes me how big the bald eagle really is

Black Swan

Landon really like this little deer animal

Checking out HUGE toads and the turtle

What is so interesting?

The otters! A family of them- Momma, Daddy, sister and brother

More animals to check out.

Catch up to the rest of them, boys!

 Lemurs

We got to see the porcupines, daddy and his daughter.  They are nocturnal. They were so cute!

The parrots are always fun to watch

 Sleepy kitty

Gibbons are so loud!  Kalya and her classes were trying to communicate with them.

 Snack time, Landon!

When these bird are mating the guy brings the girl breakfast every morning, ahh how sweet! I like the idea but who wants already eaten food, yuck!

I think this was Landon and Zach's favorite.  They didn't want to leave the fish.

Kalya is such a great "little" mom

The boy started singing and dancing.  Landon tried hard to catch up to them.  He loves music and dancing!

Capuchins!

Landon was either tired or trying to be an animal

On the way out we saw the funniest thing....

 Silly peacock!

After lunch, Vernine got Landon and I lunch and we all eat and played at Vernine's until it was nap time for the boys.  It was a lot of fun.  Thanks Vernine and Kalya for the fun morning/afternoon trip!
