Landon is two months old! Time has gone by so fast. He is growing up, big and strong. I think it will be any day now that he holds is head up all the time. He will hold his head up for a good 10-15 mins. He will lift it up and turn it in the direction he was to see. Any time he is being held and he can’t see who is talking he thrust his head in that direction. He also can do mini push-ups now. He can only hold him self up for 2-5 seconds. Being a mom has been such an amazing experience so far. I love it more as each day goes by. As you can tell from the recent videos Landon is “talking” a lot more. It is really fun listening to him talk and interact with us. I love it. My favorite is a sound he makes that sounds like “I love you.” It kind of sounds like a cute high pitch version of a dog that is saying it when the words run together. He only makes it when he is really happy and typically when both Josh and I are playing with him.
Monday night he also made a dada sound. Landon LOVES showers and he typically gets them with Dad. Josh was done with him and needed to finish up in the shower so I can and got Landon to dry him off and get him ready for bed. Landon typically cries as soon as he realizes bath time is over. Well, when I took him out this time Josh started talking to him, “do you want Daddy to save you from the cold air.” As soon as Landon heard him talking he made the dada sound. I am not sure that he was trying to say dad but both Josh and I thought it was cool and made us excited for things to come.
Monday morning, Landon had his 2 month check up and shots. He was so good. He cried when he had the shot of course but he stopped a few seconds afterwards. Dr. Wyatt said he was very happy with his growth and development. Here are is stats for this month
Weight: 12lbs, 50th percentile
Height: 23.5 inches, 75-80th percentile
Head circumference: 41 cm, 50-60 percentile

Isn't this the funniest face?

Quick note about last weekend
Last weekend, Jon drove Jessica home from her trip up to North Carolina and stayed with us Saturday and left Sunday morning to go home and visit his family in Niceville. Saturday we had a cook out and watch the game. IT was great to see Jon again and I know Landon loves being able to spend time with his uncle.
