The first part of our rough start was the plane ticket dates were wrong. I am not sure if we made the mistake or our travel agent. We had made the plane tickets for a different time and then changed them and when they were changed they were not changed to the correct dates. Lucky wee checked them 2 weeks before the trip. We could not change them without paying a huge amount of extra money so we canceled them and are saving them for a trip in the future. We ended up by driving which wasn't a horrible drive but it was 12 hours and we did it in the middle of the night. I had to work so we didn't leave until 5:30-6pm -ish.
Josh and I were planning on sleeping for a few hours taking a shower and then going to the late afternoon/evening sessions. But while Josh was checking in to the hotel and I was sitting in the car I realized Josh had misread the email about the meeting time. It was in an hour and thirty minutes. So we hurried to our rooms unpack our clothes and shower stuff, jumped in the shower and headed to the Millennium Hotel (the hotel linked to the conference center) and made it to the meeting on time. We were nervous when we got there because we had no idea who anyone was and had only talked to one person by email. Luckily, Doris, the head forwarding agent, who we had talked to through email spotted us and told us what we needed to know before the meeting. It was a 6 hour meeting but it was very informative.
Josh and I met the board members and are now family unit board member (which means we both are on the board but we get one vote). We found out a lot of useful information and are much less nervous about doing things the right way or making a mistake. Everyone on the board are wonderful people. We already feel like family.
After the meeting we were leaving the parking lot and saw this lady fall out of her car when she was trying to get a parking stub. Her foot slipped off the brake so she was dragged all while her car continued to move forward and then run into two parked cars. She was scraped up badly but no bones broken. We made sure she was okay and waited with her until the police came. She was pretty shaken up as you can imagine.
Josh and I were able to sleep in, watch a few movies, and walk around the town of Cincinnati whn were not at the conference. Except for the first day we walked from Kentucky (where our hotel was) to Ohio everyday for the conference. It was so beautiful. I twas about 1.5 miles and we walked over an old suspension bridge. At night walking was very romantic because of all the lights lighting things up. You can see in the pictures almost how pretty it was. Over all we had an amazing time. Even with the rough start it was well worth it.

We went to a night session on Missions in Asia. They had all the people committed to working in missions in Asia stand up and later get on the stage. We also were prayed on by some very nice Polish group of friends. It was really cool because they prayed for us in Polish.
