He Is Not Here, He Has Risen!
Matthew 28
1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Farewell to great friends
Hopefully this won't be good bye forever. Since Landon was born I have always wanted our children to one day be friends. Sadly now that my hope has a possibility(Chris is pregnant!!) Jason gets an awesome job with IBM and they have to move to New York. I am happy for them and their new adventures but we miss them terribly. Good bye Chris and Jason you we be greatly missed and are very loved here in Gainesville.

Barbershop
Its that time of year again. The sunshine state barbershop competition. If you don't remember from the last few years Grandpa Williams sings in a barbershop choir. This year's spring competition was held in Orlando.
This was Arabella's first competition and first car trip. It was Landon's 3rd. We all had fun! The kids did so great! It isn't really a kid friendly event since the during the singing there is suppose to be complete silence. I only had to leave once with Arabella. The rest of the time she slept or listened. When she was listening she was smiling frequently. Both Landon and Arabella seem to love the singing. Not that I blame them. It is so amazing listening to all of those men's( and some boys) beautiful voices.
Landon rode with his grandparents, Jamiie, and Jeremiah. Josh, Arabella, and I headed out a couple of hours later. We meant to leave shortly after they did but there was just too much to do. So we missed all of singing on Friday. Josh and I unfortunately missed out on a lot of singing. We loved what we heard.
We also were able to spend an hour or two at the pool which was so much fun!
A super exciting thing happened on Saturday while we were there. Arabella laughed for the first time! She was playing with Daddy. The fact that Daddy was able to see her laugh and was the reason for it made it even more perfect! He was holding her up in the air and then slowly bring her down towards him making silly sounds at the same time.
The trip was a great little vacation for us. Unfortunately and thankfully we had some car trouble on the way home. Our car actually broke down several miles past the turnpike. Josh and Dad W were able to get it running. Thankfully it was an easy solution and we were caravaning. I am up for my challenged as a mom but being strand even in town is not an experience I wish to add to my resume as mom.
**It is almost a week later and the car seems fine so hopefully the car will be good for us!**
So the car troubles aside it was a awesome trip!

Grandparents are as necessary to a child's growth as vitamins
Josh had to go out of town for the weekend for work. I was pretty nervous to have the kids alone for the weekend- mostly because of trying to get 2 kids ready for bed. Plus Arabella had more fussy 2 hour nighttime issues than good nights. I was texting my parents on Wednesday and they ask what our plans for the week/ weekend were. I joking said to them spending time with Grandpa and Grandma Gorman so I wouldn't have to be by myself. They asked the details of Josh's trip and said they would try to come down. I was so exciting about the possibility of not being by myself and for my parents to finally meet Arabella.
They arrived early afternoon with a yummy lunch in-hand from Harry's. After saying good-bye to Josh- Zach, Landon, Arabella and I enjoyed the rest of afternoon with my parents. Arabella seem to think Grandpa was a good burp rag because I think every time he held her she spit up all over him. We ended up by needing to wash his pants since he only brought two and she covered one pair. Poop Grandpa! Friday night would have been a little tough if I had been by myself because Arabella had a pretty fussy night.
Saturday, got to recover from a late night with Arabella since Grandma and Grandpa were already up when Landon woke up. Saturday we went out to lunch at Cody's (which to me was a new restaurant in Gainesville since I rarely drive past that part of Archer Road). It is similar to Texas Road House. We all had a yummy lunch. I was glad we were adventurous and picked a new place to try. After lunch we went to park down the street from us. We had a great day! Landon loved playing with his grandparents!
Sunday would have been so stressful with our my parents. We still have a hard time getting out the door some days with Arabella, well really us being Williams we have a hard time getting anywhere on time no matter how many children we have;) I had to teach Sunday school and Josh really wanted to take the car for better gas milage. Since my parents were coming he took the car and they brought all of us to Harvest Sunday morning. We said our good-byes after they dropped us off. Our good friend Jean Estes brought us home and Daddy arrived about few hours after we got home.
It was a wonderful weekend that could have been a very difficult and stressful one. Thanks Mom and Dad for saving my sanity and keeping us company for the weekend!

Conversation with Landon
Landons loves to build water sprayers (he loves spraying people with our water bottle that is used for disciplining the cats) with his blocks.
Landon: Mommy I build water sprayer that can fly over kids. Outside and In.
Me: Really?
L:Yes, it shoots warm water not really cold (and then he pretends to shiver) or hot. Ow! Ow! Ow!
M. Well that is good I don't like water that is too hot or cold.
L: It has hot and cold water cause it makes warm water. Yes.
M: That is right hot water and cold water make warm water.
L: Yes. It now shoots "beome" water.
M: What is "beome" water?
L:It is made of hot lava. Lava start with "L" like Landon starts with.
"Beome" water makes more hot lave too and goes really fast!
I love my little imaginative toddler!

Sunday at the Park
One Sunday after church services, Josh and I thought we enjoy the beautiful weather and our family by having picnic at the park. We went to the nice park that is just a few miles past our house. We had some yummy sandwiches, fruit, pita chips and humus.
After eating we parked around the park. Landon wanted to check out the chickens that live right at the farm next door to the park. After walking around Arabella and sat in the shade of the dugout in the baseball field. Landon and Daddy played silly games and climbed on the bleachers.
It was a perfect family afternoon with beautiful weather!

"A family is but an early heaven"... Did I ever tell you I love my family?
I am blessed to have a wonderful family.
A part of our family that we now don't get to see much of is Aunt Jessie. In March though we were able to see her!
Jessica came down to Florida from Missiouri for her spring break. She took a bus but got an unexpected blessing when a friend happened to be going through Nashville at the same time and headed to Niceville. She got to ride home with her and got home 5 hours early. She spent a few days with Niceville family and then headed down here to meet her little niece and see the rest of the family.
It was a great visit! She arrived Tuesday late afternoon. Jessica and I had fun getting caught up on all the little details of our life that we don't always have time for on the phone. Landon and Arabella got lots of play time with Aunt Jessie. I was really nice having extra hands around the house, plus I got to sleep in a day or two since Aunt Jessica got up with Landon.
Thursday evening the rest of the Williams family came down to visit with us. We had so much fun. Another great surprise for Jessica was she thought she had to leave Friday morning and it turn out she didn't have to leave until Saturday afternoon!

Hello Mommy..... Goodbye Tummy : a baby shower to welcome Arabella
My friends Desiree, Kyra, and Michelle put together a welcome baby shower for Arabella at the beginning of March (This blog shows how behind I am in posting stuff- my goal is to get caught up this week but we will see). Harvest fellowship hall was beautifully decorated in purple and pink. The ladies put together some yummy food and dessert. I am so blessed to have them. I loved the shower. Several friends from Harvest and a couple of My college friends attended. I loved having my beautiful sweet baby girl, Arabella there to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who came and a extra thank you to the ladies who worked hard to put the shower all together!
