Valentine’s Day weekend <3

Valentines wasn’t the most romantic weekend for Josh and I but we did enjoy it. Josh had to work so Jamiie Jo, Jessica, Landon and I thought we would surprise him and Jon (who was coming into town that night) with some Valentine’s Day love. We made them a two tiered devils food cake with homemade sour cream frosting, Jell-o in heart shapes and home made cards. We had some interesting baking issues but they all turned out okay in the end. It reminded me of an elementary school Valentine’s Day party. Josh and Jon made dinner and after dinner we surprised with everything. It was a lot of fun. A great time to enjoy family and friends. Andrea and Chris (he was in town visiting too) came over that evening. We played video games and enjoyed all the yummy sweets.

Sunday the Williams family came in town to pick up Jamiie Jo and to visit with Jon and the rest of us. We all meet up for lunch along with Josh and David. Not a typically Valentine’s day weekend for a couple but we loved it.
