Brother and sister love

Josh and I love our sibling and loved being the big brother or sister.  We are so happy to see that Landon is already loving his role.  Landon is so sweet with his little sister.

Some of the sweetest things is when he hears her cry even when he is asleep he pats her, he always wants to give her kisses and wants to make sure that mommy and daddy give her kisses, and he reads and sings to her all the time.

We are so thankful for our sweet blessing!

Playtime

Reading to Arabella

Sunday afternoon nap.  Landon loves napping with Arabella.  Both of them go to sleep so fast when they are cuddling

A quick note from Josh

This afternoon I took Landon out while I ran an errand. He was excited to ride in the "big" truck. On the way home, he leaned over and relaxed his head on my arm. I was lovin it.

Hello Mommy..... Goodbye Tummy : a baby shower to welcome Arabella

My friends Desiree, Kyra, and Michelle put together a welcome baby shower for Arabella. Harvest fellowship hall was beautifully decorated in purple and pink. The ladies put together some yummy food and dessert. I am so blessed to have them. I loved the shower. Several friends from Harvest and a couple of My college friends attended. I loved having my beautiful sweet baby girl, Arabella there to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who came and a extra thank you to the ladies who worked hard to put the shower all together!

 The beautiful ladies!

The beautiful decorations and really yummy food!

The food was SO yummy!
Kyra made the coolest cupcakes.  They were raspberry and layered light pink, dark pink, and purple inside!

Game Time!

 The presents!

....and the reason for it all... My beautiful sweet daughter, Arabella!

Our good friends from college, Ashlee and Kimberly, came up from Orlando to celebrate and meet baby Arabella.  Thanks ladies for driving to see us!!

I came home for the shower to find my son who is a reluctant sleeper and has never fallen asleep anywhere but in a bed, car seat or someones arms asleep like this.  Apparently he slept for a hour and half and then came out to the living room and fell back to sleep.

Arabella's two week check up

I know this is really late but better late than never?

Daddy stayed at home with Zach and Landon while Mommy and Arabella went to see the doctor.  Arabella did great. only issue with her is her little belly cord has fallen off but her belly button is still a little oozy.  Dr. C said it should heal up with in the next few weeks.  Doctor C said she has great color and is a healthy little girl!

A few additions to Landon's room

Here are a few art projects I had done in January for Landon.
I painted these for Landon just before Arabella was born.
A leaf bug, brown recluse spider, dragonfly, and stag beetle

Our MOPS craft project in January, a cork board made from a ceiling tile, but I just recently finished it.

Thank you!!!

We are so blessed to have great friends.  We had about 2 weeks of dinners brought to us after Arabella was born.  It was really nice not to worry about "what's for dinner?"  Our church family brought us many dinner and so did some of the moms in my MOPS group.  Thank you so much each and everyone of you!  It was especially helpful since Josh has had to work so much and often late nights.  You have realived some of the stress that comes along with a new born.  I attempted to take a picture of all the yummy dinners and desserts(which Landon and I enjoyed mostly by ourselves, well mostly I did but I didn't mind at all!) we recieved.  They didn't all get their photo shot, but they were all enjoyed and we were very thankful for all of them.

Thank you so much...

Fun in the sun at the park

We recently started going to a park that is down the road about 3 miles from us.  It is a great little park and it is never busy.  Since Landon had been couped up in the house with the coming of a new baby I packed up the kids and took us over there for a couple of hours.

Landon had a lot of fun and Arabella slept soundly in my homemade moby wrap (Thanks to Julie!)

Look at this dare devil!
Landon loves the swings!
